Password Requirements

Strong Password Policy

P3M enforces strong password requirements to protect your account and organizational data.

Required Criteria

  • • Minimum 8 characters in length
  • • At least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
  • • At least one lowercase letter (a-z)
  • • At least one number (0-9)
  • • At least one special character (!@#$%^&*)

Additional Rules

  • • Cannot contain your name or email
  • • Cannot be a common password
  • • Cannot reuse last 5 passwords
  • • Must be changed every 90 days
  • • Cannot contain dictionary words

Password Reset Process

Request Password Reset

Initiate the password reset process from the login page

  • Click "Forgot Password?" on the login page
  • Enter your registered email address
  • Complete any security verification if prompted
  • Submit the password reset request

Check Your Email

Look for the password reset email in your inbox

  • Check your email inbox within 5-10 minutes
  • Look for email from P3M system
  • Check spam/junk folder if not received
  • Reset link expires in 1 hour for security

Reset Your Password

Follow the link and create a new secure password

  • Click the reset link in the email
  • Enter your new password twice
  • Ensure password meets all requirements
  • Submit to complete the reset process

Login with New Password

Use your new password to access your account

  • Return to the login page
  • Enter your email and new password
  • Update password in any saved credentials
  • Consider updating security questions

Changing Your Password

From Profile Settings

Change your password when logged in through your profile settings.

Password reset email not received

New password not accepted

  • Ensure password meets all requirements
